So, Today was CM PUNK's first ever professional fight. He had lost his fight but has surely earned a lot of fans for his efforts. I thought people would by more cynical and scathing towards CM Punk. Not just for his defeat, but for manner of it. It was thrashing. He was never in the fight. Inspite of this, this man has surely won many hearts through his talent and fighting skills.
Punk came as an underdog, having never fought professionally, lack of experience got reflected immediately. His fight was with Mickey Gall, who took the former wrestler immediately by striking through his legs and concealed victory within 3 minutes via rear-naked choke.
Though, Punk has lost his first ever match at UFC but trust me this guy has got a lot of potential. He will be back with more aggression and better fighting skills. Standing alone in an octagonal ring with a professional MMA wrestler is not a thing of kids.
