2016 SUMMER PARALYMPICS
The 2016 summer Paralympics have already started in Brazil Rio. Paralympics Games are special games for athletes with disabilities. These games are governed by International Paralympic Committee and this is the 15th edition.
They have already started on 7th of September and will continue till 18th September. These Games will see the introduction of two new sports to the Paralympic program : canoeing and the para-triathlon. As in past years, the 2016 Summer Paralympics will share most of its venues with Olympics : Barra da Tijuca will host most of the venues of the Games; the rest will be located in Copacabana Beach, Maracana and Deodoro; Barra da Tijuca will also house the Olympic Village.
