How can I sync Airtel Digital TV remote with TV’s remote?

Sometimes Volume Keys, mute key and on/off keys of Airtel TV remote stops working. Reasons can be one of the following :

1. You have changed Television set.
2. Remote’s infrared emitter is damaged.
3. TV’s signal receptor is damaged.

Here is how you can sync your Airtel Remote with your Television remote.

• Step 1 : Press OK and number 2 on your remote together. After pressing it, you will notice that red light will blink on your remote for TWO times, then it will start to glow continuously. Stabilization of red light means that your Airtel remote is ready to learn.
• Step 2 : Place the both remotes at a distance of 3-6 cm in front of each other with heads facing each other.
• Step 3 : Now, for example if you want to sync Volume keys then, simultaneously press the volume keys on both remotes. If the syncing is successful then red light on your remote will blink twice else it will blink 4 times. It it fails then go to step 1 again.
• Step 4 : Now to save the settings, press OK key.
